Spring 2024 Update

Sewing in Mumbai

In January, Autumn partnered with Mpower Approach and taught sewing in Mumbai, India. 15 men and women from surrounding villages were part of the class and had a great time connecting with other believers. The group used treadle sewing machines, learned how to transfer a pattern, find the straight of grain, and general care for the machines. By the end of the week, they had constructed 4 different pieces of clothing and left with skills/patterns to teach basic sewing in their communities. The students enjoyed fellowship while building skills and the women teaching loved learning about Indian culture, delicious food, and the vibrant colors of their clothing. Please pray for growth in the lives of the students in India as they are not permitted to meet openly in house churches or gather freely for Christian worship, all of which we often take for granted in our own communities. Autumn hopes to return to India and is looking forward to more global partnership opportunities with Mpower in the future! Thank you to each of you who supported this trip with prayers, encouragement, and financially.

SNOW REFUGE

Leap International provided an opportunity for young people from Campus Life, Pamona Bible Church, Amped Louisville & Williamston Free Methodist Church to attend Snow Refuge. Kids were challenged to find their edge on the slopes by committing to ski/snowboard Crystal Mountain. They were also challenged to find their edge in life by committing their hearts to Christ.
